Tian Carey

Tian Carey













Tian Carey was a research student working towards a PhD in the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Graphene Technology. He was in the Cambridge Graphene Centre and a member of Pembroke College. He graduated with a MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge, Department of Materials Science and then pursued a PhD in Engineering at the Cambridge Graphene Centre, University of Cambridge.

After completing his PhD, Tian was awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering enterprise fellowship and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship which has facilitated his research and commercialisation efforts in internationally recognised Universities such as Imperial College London, University of Cambridge and Trinity College Dublin. He is currently a fellow of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, a member of Pembroke College and a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub. His interests involve printed and wearable electronics with graphene and 2D materials, focusing on energy, sensing, digital electronics, and the translation of technologies into products for society.
